Do I need a golf handicap to play a neon golf event?
No - Our events cater to all levels of golfers - 9-hole par 3 events do not present the same difficulties as regular longer par 3, 4 & 5’s.
Do I need my own set of golf clubs?
Yes - All players are required to bring their own set of clubs - A full set may not be necessary for some - The longest hole will be around the 150-meter mark.
How dark will it be?
As dark as possible. A torch will be provided to all players - We will not be floodlighting our partner courses and attempting to turn on the sun - Instead we will use minimal lighting (neon of course) to highlight fairway boundaries, bunkers and other hazards.
What time do events start?
Event starting times will vary throughout the season. Ultimately, they’ll start once the sun has set. Players will be encouraged to arrive an hour before estimated sunset to enjoy pre event drinks and snacks and to go over general course rules as well as safety instructions and equipment.
How long does event go for?
Actual playing time will be around 1.5 - 2 hours - With pre and post drinks and presentations add another 1.5 - 2 hours.
Can I hire a drivable cart?
No - There will be no use of carts - All events will be walking only - Electric or Push buggies are allowed.
Can I BYO alcohol?
No - anyone caught bringing their own alcoholic beverages will be asked to leave. Events will be fully licensed with proceeds going back to course.
Can I keep neon equipment and balls?
Yes - All equipment will be available to purchase as part of a package with green fees for each event.
